Día 1. Bogotá - Leticia - Río Takana. Introducción a la Selva y a la cultura ancestral

Nota: las actividades de este día pueden variar dependdiendo de la hora de llegada de los pasajeros a Leticia o si ya se encuentran en la ciudad.

Recepción en el aeropuerto o encuentro en Leticia. Traslado en carro particular al Km 11 de la vía Leticia – Tarapacá, al norte de Leticia. Encuentro con el guía local, almuerzo y revisión de equipajes. Caminata de ingreso a las malocas del Takana (3h. aprox.). Recorrdio por selvas secundarias y chagras o huertas tradicionales, visita malocas indígenas de las étnias Mavuna, Yukuna, Huitoto y Bora. Reconocimiento de ecosistemas, plantas útiles, presentación de riutuales, usos y costumbres. 

Recepción y estadía en la maloca Bora al cierre del día (hamacas con mosquitero, baños exteriores improvisados tipo letrina)

19:00 Cena y actividad nocturna opcional: compartir de los rituales del uso de la coca y del tabaco, charlas en el mambeadero, caminata nocturna....

Día 2. Exploración selva adentro.

Despertar a la madrugada y actividades opcionales como observación de aves, pesca, visita a la chagra, preparación de alimentos.

Desayuno: 07:00

Caminata (4 a 6 h.) hacia las selvas primarias altas al nor-oriente (El Varillal o territorio del jaguar)  del río Takana al norte de Leticia. Almuerzo en selva tipo fiambre, instalación de campamento (hamacas con misquitero y techo en medio de los árboles. Exploración e interpretación del ecosistema por el guía , observación fauna y flora, reconocimiento de los sonidos de la selva y apreciación de distintos fenómenos naturales como la bioluminiscencia nocturna. Tips de supervivencia, cena al fuego, caminata y apreciación de la vida nocturna, historias de selva,  descanso en las hamacas

Día 3. Con La Selva y su Gente. 

05:00 Amanecer selvático, baño en la quebrada y desayuno al fuego. . 

07:00 Recogida de campamento y exploración de la zona continuación de la caminata a la cuenca del río Takana. Exploración de los ecosistemas a lo largo del camino e identificación de fauna y flora. Almuerzo en campo y arribo a la maloca de Johny en medio de la selva. Cena y descanso en la las hamacas. Compartir de rituales de la coca y del tabaco (mambe, ambil, rapé),  preparación de alimentos tradicionales. 

18:00 Cena y descanso en las hamacas.

Día 4. Aventura río Takana Colombia

05:00 Despertar, baño en la quebrada y desayuno . 

06:00 Recogida de equipajes y caminata a la maloca de la Aventura del Abuelo Alfonso, a orillas del río Takana. ACtividad de escalada de árboles a plas plataformas de dosel y pasos aéreos. Descenso de los árboles e inicio travesía en kayak río Takana aguas abajo hasta laos lomas de tierra firme de la quebrada "Agua negra. Almuerzo en el camino, caminata y exploración en torno al campamento en selva No. 2. Cena al fuego, caminata y apreciación de la vida nocturna. Descanso en las hamacas.

Día 5. Aventura río Takana Brasil

06:00 Despertar a la madrugada, desayuno al fuego, recogida de campamento, exploración de la zona y retorno a los kayaks con almuerzo en la quebrda Takana. 

Travesía en kayak No. 2 hasta la Reserva Takana de la comunidad de agricultores de S. Joao en selvas secundarias del Brasil. Acomodación en la casa (hamacas y/o colchonetas en el piso). Reconocimiento de frutas y productos agropecuarios de la región. Cena típica y descanso.

Día 6. Río Amazonas y Javarí

06:00 Despertar a la madrugada, baño en la quebrada y ritual de la "chuchuwasa", desayuno en la casa y recogida de equipajes. Traslado fluvial (canoa motorizada) y/o terrestre al puerto de Tabatinga (Brasil) sobre el río Amazonas. Navegacióon por el río Amazonas, reconocimiento del punto imaginario de las tres fronteras (Colombia-Perú-Brasil) . Navegación y exploración de las selvas inundables del Perú y el río Javarí (frontera Natural brasil-Perú). Visita a los lagos de Zacambú, observación de delfines en el recorrido, playas de arena blanca (temporada de aguas bajas) lagos, pesca de pirañas, navegación y búsqueda de caimanes en la noche.

Día 7. Reencuentro con la selva urbana

NOTA: Las actividades de este día dependen del itinerario de vuelo de los pasajeros, o si desean quedarse en Leticia esta última noche por un precio adicional.

Desayuno en la Reserva. Actividades en la mañana a cargo de los guías de la reserva. Traslado al puerto de la Reserva y encuentro a las 09:00 con el bote particular para el regreso a Leticia. Recorrido en carro particular por Leticia y Tabatinga (Brasil) almuerzo y traslado al aeropueerto.

  • Personal purchases in the different scenarios that are visited.

  • Personal equipment chargers during the tours.

  • Bilingual guides or translation services.

  • Entrance fee to Puerto Nariño: $10,000 per person.

Recommendations and warnings:

  • Consult with us to extend your excursion one or more nights in the countryside or closing your excursion on the last night in a hotel in Leticia.

  • Do not bring jewelry, non-essential valuables, important documents or large sums of cash.

  • Carry some simple money and cash with you, for possible personal purchases during the tour.

  • Bring your luggage in a comfortable backpack with a minimum capacity of 70 liters. Take your excursion with strictly the minimum luggage necessary during the tour.

    • Light and quick-drying clothing: 1 pair of long pants for walks and for resting in the different scenarios, a shorts to alternate during the hottest moments, a pair of short-sleeved T-shirts and a long-sleeved shirt to protect yourself of mosquitoes at the most critical moments. Enough underwear.

    • Footwear: It is recommended to bring Pantanal rubber boots for walks and a single pair of extra shoes such as tennis shoes or outdoor type sandals that are also easy to dry. Other types of footwear of your choice, which you decide to use at your own risk, will most likely be exposed to water and mud during walks.

    • Accessories: thin gloves, neck-buff or scarves, cap.

    • Personal hygiene: toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant of your choice. We do not recommend bringing soaps, shampoo, perfumes, creams and others to reduce the load during the tour and minimize environmental impacts.

  • Biosecurity.

    • SELVAVENTURA and its team of providers provide a basic first aid kit during the tour and at the different stations. Bring your own prescription or personal use medications in the proper containers. 

    • COVID19: responsibly apply personal care before during and after your excursion, in accordance with international regulations.

    • Yellow fever: the international recommendation, standard for some tropical countries, obliges to carry the vaccination card against yellow fever which is valid for 10 years and does not apply to people over 60 years of age. If you have the card, carry it and if you have not been vaccinated, check if the country or region of destination is requiring the card or not when traveling. In any case, the region of the Amazon where this excursion is carried out does not represent a risk of contracting the disease.

    • Malaria or Paludism. The vaccine for this ailment is not yet available on the formal market. The probability of contracting this disease during your excursion is very low. We do not recommend taking prophylactic (“preventive”) medications against this disease since their full efficiency has not been proven and they significantly affect your body. People who use these drugs can camouflage the disease in their body with long-term effects. If necessary, this disease is easily detected with blood tests and has its respective curative medical treatment.

    • In case of abnormal symptoms such as fever, headache, strong flu, joint pain, diarrhea, etc... after your trip; We recommend visiting specialized medical centers and advising that relevant tests be done for possible tropical diseases.
