Experience adapted to the current security requirements in all its dimensions (social, physical, health, hygiene, moral) for students and companions, moderately demanding in time and physical conditioning, out of comfort but with sufficient basic comforts throughout the tour , which represents a cycle of learning and vital experiential knowledge for them as leading elements within our society.  

Introducción a la Selva: Leticia, la selva urbanizada.

Día 1

Recepción en el aeropuerto hacie el medio día, según el itinerario del vuelo. Traslado en van al restaurante en el Centro de Leticia. almuerzoc. Presentación de los guías locales y caminara por la ciudad. Visita a el malecón, plaza de mercado, museo etnográfico, Parque Santander a las 17:30 para ver la llegada de los loros y golondrinas en su época. 18:00 Traslado en van a la reserva La Arenosa a la altura del Km 10 sobre la vía Leticia - Tarapacá, al norte de Leticia. 19:00 Bienvenida a la reserva, acomodación en las cabañas (alojamiento múltiple en camarotes, baños internos), cena y reunión de bienvenida, integración y contrato de responsabilidad compartida durante la excursión. Descanso

El mundo tradicional: aproximación a la selva espiritual.

Día 2.

06:00 Despertar, meditación y baño en la quebrada. Desayuno a las 07:00 

08:00 traslado en van a la comunidad Multiétnco Takanasobre el Km 11 de la vía Leticia - Tarapaca. Full day interactivo de caminatas y visitas a las distintas malocas indígenas mixtas de las etnias: Makuna, Yukuna y Huitoto con agtividades participativas en la chagra (lugar de cultivo de alimentos y  plantas medicinales y espirituales. Apreciación espontánea de los usos y costumbres de los locales (arquitectura, cocina, rituales vigentes como el uso de la coca (mámbe) y del tabaco (ambíl o rapé). Almuerzo típico en la maloca Yukuna y baño en el río Takana. Caminata a la carretera y retorno a la Reserva a las 17:00.

18:00 REunión de cierrre del día y descanso.

Trochas, quebradas, lagos y lomas.

Día 3.

05:00 Despertar, meditación y baño en la quebrada, recogida de equipajes y desayuno a las 06:00. 

07:00 Caminata en selva a la comunidad Tikuna de San Pedro. Visita casual a la comunidad, muestra de artesanías y productos de la región. Instrucción de kayak y cainata al puerto para la travesía (3 a 4 horas) por la quebrada, selva inundable y lagos Yahuarcaca hasta la Reserva Flor de Loto. Observación de la Victoria regia, renacos, ceibas, aves, delfines en su temporada y otras especies nativas. Llegada al centro de visitantes y almuerzo. 

15:00 Navegación en bote particular río Amazonas aguas arriba hasta Arara Eco-lodge. Búsqueda de delfines. Ingreso hasta el centro de visitantes (en bote, en canoas y/o caminando según el nivlel de las aguas a lo largo del año). 17:00 Acomodación (alojamiento múltiple en cabañas con camarotes con mosquitero y baños internos). 19:00 Cena. 20:00 REunipen de cierre del día y descanso.

La selva experiencial.

Día 4.

05:00 a 06:00 Observación de aves y meditación

07:00 Desayuno

08:00 a 11:00 Dependiendo de la disponibilidad local y de la temporada: actividades rotativas en la Reserva (dependiendo de la temporada): Talleres opcionales: tejidos y fibras naturales, tejidos, tintes naturales, arcilla, preparación de asaí. / caminata en selva y canopying /pesca artesanal.

12:00 a 13:00 Almuerzo en el centro de visitantes.

14:00 a 17:00 Dependiendo de la disponibilidad local y de la temporada: actividades rotativas en la Reserva (dependiendo de la temporada): Talleres opcionales: tejidos y fibras naturales, tejidos, tintes naturales, arcilla, preparación de asaí. / caminata en selva y canopying /pesca artesanal.

18:00 Cena

19:00 Caminata nocturna en la selva

20:00 Reunión de cierre y descanso.

Itinerario flexible dependiendo de la hora de salida del vuelo este día.

09:00 Salida al río Amazonas y embarque aguas abajo.

10:00 Arribo a puerto de Leticia, desembarque. Refrigerio. Traslado al aeropuerto.

11:00 a 112:00 Almuerzo en el aeropuerto tipo comida rápida y despedida.

Price of the plan per person. Rate to the public. Valid until June 30, 2021, for groups of 20 students or more. Subject to changes and adjustments due to external variables:

  • All land and/or river transportation related in the plan.

  • 4 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 4 dinners, with hydration and snacks in between each day.

  • Accommodation every night according to the description of the plan.

  • Permanent accompaniment of at least one local guide in each setting and during the different activities.

  • Extreme Colasistencia risk insurance.

  • All income and activities mentioned in the program

Does not include:

  • Airline tickets.

  • Alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, sodas, any type of drinks or food additional to those supplied by the company during the tour.

  • Personal purchases in the different scenarios that are visited.

  • Personal luggage carriers or any type of cargo or equipment during the tours.

  • Bilingual guides or translation services

Recommendations and warnings:

  • Consult with us to extend your excursion one or more nights in the countryside or closing your excursion on the last night in a hotel in Leticia.

  • Do not bring jewelry, non-essential valuables, important documents or large sums of cash.

  • Carry some simple money and cash with you, for possible personal purchases during the tour.

  • Bring your luggage in a comfortable backpack with a minimum capacity of 70 liters. Take your excursion with strictly the minimum luggage necessary during the tour.

    • Light and quick-drying clothing: 1 pair of long pants for walks and for resting in the different scenarios, a shorts to alternate during the hottest moments, a pair of short-sleeved T-shirts and a long-sleeved shirt to protect yourself of mosquitoes at the most critical moments. Enough underwear.

    • Footwear: It is recommended to bring Pantanal rubber boots for walks and a single pair of extra shoes such as tennis shoes or outdoor type sandals that are also easy to dry. Other types of footwear of your choice, which you decide to use at your own risk, will most likely be exposed to water and mud during walks.

    • Accessories: thin gloves, neck-buff or scarves, cap.

    • Personal hygiene: toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant of your choice. We do not recommend bringing soaps, shampoo, perfumes, creams and others to reduce the load during the tour and minimize environmental impacts.

  • Biosecurity.

    • SELVAVENTURA and its team of providers provide a basic first aid kit during the tour and at the different stations. Bring your own prescription or personal use medications in the proper containers. 

    • COVID19: responsibly apply personal care before during and after your excursion, in accordance with international regulations.

    • Yellow fever: the international recommendation, standard for some tropical countries, obliges to carry the vaccination card against yellow fever which is valid for 10 years and does not apply to people over 60 years of age. If you have the card, carry it and if you have not been vaccinated, check if the country or region of destination is requiring the card or not when traveling. In any case, the region of the Amazon where this excursion is carried out does not represent a risk of contracting the disease.

    • Malaria or Paludism. The vaccine for this ailment is not yet available on the formal market. The probability of contracting this disease during your excursion is very low. We do not recommend taking prophylactic (“preventive”) medications against this disease since their full efficiency has not been proven and they significantly affect your body. People who use these drugs can camouflage the disease in their body with long-term effects. If necessary, this disease is easily detected with blood tests and has its respective curative medical treatment.

    • In case of abnormal symptoms such as fever, headache, strong flu, joint pain, diarrhea, etc... after your trip; We recommend visiting specialized medical centers and advising that relevant tests be done for possible tropical diseases.

  • The remaining balance must be paid by the same means, and in cash in Leticia, no later than 8 days before starting the excursion. .
